Help us give away 5 scholarships to deserving families. Your nomination will help direct $12,560 in scholarships for preschool to the families who need it most. You can nominate any deserving child. You don’t need to be a parent. You don’t need to be a teacher. You just need to be someone who wants to help.

Priority deadline for nominations is April 29. Final Deadline May 9.

Eligibility:

• Priority is for families who don’t make a lot of money and could not afford preschool without one of these scholarships.
• Priority is for children who are new to Tiny Trees. Families currently enrolled for the 2016 school year are not eligible.
• Child must be three years old by August 31, 2016.
• We prefer that someone other than the parent nominates the child (because we’re building community).

Scholarships

Rev. Jeffery Barker Scholarship – Rainier Valley/John C Little Park

Nominate a child for a $330/mo ($4,000 a year) scholarship at John C Little park. The remaining tuition is $295 a month (discounted from $625).
Rainier Valley/John C Little Park | AM Classroom | M-F, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm | Year Round Program

Named after the Rev. Jeffery Barker, who for the last 30 years has served the South Seattle community as a pastor and community leader. An avid outdoor enthusiast and mountaineer, Rev. Barker has helped introduce generations of young people to Washington’s wild spaces as a volunteer for the YMCA’s BOLD program. This scholarship honors Rev. Barker by helping a child enjoy a childhood full of natural wonder and begin a lifetime of outdoor adventure. All in the community he calls home. This scholarship has been designated by the donor for an African-American child 3 to 5 years old to attend preschool at John C Little Park.

Seedlings Scholarship – Rainier Valley/John C Little Park – 3 Days a Week

Nominate a child for a $180/mo ($2,160 a year) scholarship for a 3 day a week morning class at John C Little Park. The remaining tuition is $195 a month (discounted from $375).

Seedlings Scholarship – West Seattle/Camp Long – 5 Days a Week

Nominate a child for a $280/month ($2,800 a year) scholarship for a 5 day a week afternoon class at Camp Long. The remaining tuition is $395 a month (discounted from $675).
West Seattle/Camp Long | PM Classroom | M-F, 1:30 – 4:30 pm | Sept – June Program

Seedlings Scholarship – West Seattle/Camp Long – 2 Days a Week

Nominate a child for a $100/mo ($1,200 a year) scholarship for a 2 day a week afternoon class at Camp Long. The remaining tuition is $175 a month (discounted from $275).
West Seattle/Camp Long | PM Classroom | Tue & Thur, 1:30 – 4:30 pm | Sept – June Program

Seedlings Scholarship – Beacon Hill/Jefferson Park – 3 Days a Week
Nominate a child for a $200/mo ($2,400 a year) scholarship at John C Little Park. The remaining tuition is $200 a month (discounted from $400).
