25 Aug Camp Long Orientation & Open House – Wednesday 8/31

Dear Tiny Trees Preschool Families,

Can you believe we are only one month away from the first day of school?  I am excited for all the events to come in the next month to get classrooms, teachers and families ready for the school year!  Having the opportunity to speak with parents on a daily basis, I feel the excitement and anticipation to meet the teachers and see the outdoor classrooms.  I am happy to say that time has come.

You and Your Children Are Invited!
Family Open House & Orientation
Location: Camp Long
Park at the Camp Long lodge 5200 35th Ave SW. Follow the trails down hill to the big open meadow. You will see our classroom to the S, next to the campfire pit.
Date: Wednesday 8/31
Time: 6:00-7:00PM

Activities:

• Meet your child’s teachers, Katherine and Maryyah

• Learn about a “typical day” and curriculum highlights.

• Connect with other Tiny Trees families.

• Explore the park that will soon be your child’s classroom!

• Learn about volunteer opportunities.

We will remain outdoors for the entirety of the event, rain or shine, to get the true Tiny Trees experience, and dinner will be provided. Please bring your own cups/water bottles with what your family would like to drink.

This open house will be an interactive experience, with teachers and staff addressing special topics in small groups. You will receive a program upon arrival to choose what you would like to check out within our hour together, but there will be some topics that are required, so make sure to read your program.

As you may know, we will be scheduling home visits during the open house, so please make sure to bring your calendars!  Home visits will be taking place on Friday September 2^nd and Tuesday, September 6^th to Friday September 9^th. At your home visit you will spend one on one time with both of your child’s teachers. Your child will also be fit for a free one-piece rain suit and boots from Tiny Trees. If you are unable to attend your open house, please email me (Veronica@tinytrees.org) with your top three days and times and we will schedule your home visit for you.
