05 Jul FREE Tuition at Olympic Sculpture Park, Cougar Mountain, & Big Finn Hill Parks
Tiny Trees is stepping up to help children & families at our 3 newest locations.
Scholarships and free tuition made possible by all of the generous heroes who gave during Give BIG and our annual luncheon. Thank you!
Tiny Trees is committed to mixed income classrooms and we’re working hard to make sure all of our locations reflect the economic and cultural diversity of the neighborhoods they are a part of. One way is providing every family, regardless of income, a warm welcome. Here’s our plan:
- Free tuition for 3 families at Cougar Mountain Wildland Park 5 day AM class, helping families in Renton, Issaquah, and S Bellevue.
- Free tuition for 3 families at Big Finn Hill Park 5 day AM class, helping families in Bothell, Woodinville, Kirkland, and N Bellevue.
- Free tuition for 3 families at the SAM Olympic Sculpture Park PM 3 day class, helping families in Seattle.
How to qualify
If the combined, gross income for your family size is below 110% of federal poverty (blue) then you qualify for free tuition from Tiny Trees*.
BLUE* = You qualify for free tuition at Cougar Mountain, Big Finn Hill Park, or SAM Olympic Sculpture Park.
YELLOW = You qualify for free tuition through the Seattle Preschool Program – Pathways at Jefferson, John C Little, and Carkeek Parks.
* Why did we choose this number? It’s the income cap set by Washington State’s Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP), a program Tiny Trees may partner with in the future.
