20 Jul Children Visit A Fire Station: A Photo Essay

Special thanks to the Seattle Fire Department for hosting this field trip.

One summer day a Tiny Trees class went on a field trip.

They walked across a big park and sang songs together.

Since they were going by a busy playground they had everyone hold on to a rope.

After walking through fields, past a spray park, and some big public art the children arrived at their destination.

The fire station!

Which was full of fire trucks!

At the fire station they met a fire man, dressed up in his fire man suit.

The children learned about fire safety and got to ask lots of questions.

Like do you get hot in that fire man suit?

Children also got to explore the fire truck…

..and sit inside!

And it was totally awesome!!
