10 Oct What Were We Up To? Tiny Trees Professional Development

Each month, Tiny Trees staff gather for professional development training.  The timely and responsive topics are driven by feedback from teachers, students and parents.

On Monday, October 2nd, Tiny Trees staff spent the morning at Camp Long, receiving training on cold weather preparedness, fire building, cooking over the fire, SPP-Pathways, family engagement and event planning.  The afternoon session was held at the West Seattle Public library and provided opportunities for team and small group collaboration highlighting techniques for effective communication and management.

Our next professional development is Thursday November 9th. Although school is closed, our teachers will be hard at work! If you have any questions, contact the family empowerment team!
