In order to further the mission of increasing access to quality, nature-rich outdoor preschool programs in the Puget Sound, Tiny Trees offers classroom tours to community members, including potential and current families, donors, volunteers, board members, staff members, and service providers.
With a Tour, participants will have the opportunity to observe a Tiny Trees classroom in action from a far. Tours will take place during preschool hours and will be lead by a member of our administration team. Our admin team member will lead you around the perimeter of the classroom and will answer any questions you may have. Participants will not be able to interact with the teachers and students, so we do not recommend that you bring your prospective kiddos to a tour. However, since you will be observing teachers as they are leading, teaching, and having fun with their students, you will gain an excellent perspective of what a typical day at outdoor preschool looks like.
With Open Classrooms, participants will have the opportunity to enter the classroom space, meet our exceptional teaching staff, and learn more about the how, what, & why of a Tiny Trees education. Open Classrooms take place after preschool hours, are about one hour long, and will be lead by our teachers and a Tiny Trees admin team member. Because you will get to interact with the teachers and the classroom space, this is the perfect opportunity to bring in prospective kiddos so they can experience the space for themselves. Teachers will also provide a kid-friendly activity for families to participate in at the end. Come ready to explore, learn, ask questions, and have fun!
